RCMP "O" Division Applicants.

Hello everyone!
I have scheduled the RPAB for oct 24, 2012, I was wondering if anyone else applying from Ontario, is writing around that time? or if you have written recently?
I am using policeprep and books to brush up on my rusty math and grammer skills, But i'm concerned about the memory component. Anyone Know if we are allowed to write what we remember on scrap paper as soon as we get book #2?

hey zaid. i'm writing in the late fall. I have written the exam twice. i also passed twice. no selection package came my way. Policeprep is a huge help. it's worth the money and the tests are bascally the same. As for the scrap paper question, i think the answer is no. they don't give you time to do that. it's a memory test. lol .

I recieved my confirmation today, for the RPAB in oct. I'm sorry to hear about your luck, hopefully this time both of us will get the package. I will try and post my results on here and I hope other applicants do the same; atleast we can have an idea of where we stand in regards to our marks on the "dynamic" list. Did you find that your actual RPAB marks were close to the practice tests on this site? I was wondering, what is a good mark to aim on the practice tests?

I just booked my test for Nov. I found my marks are about the same here as they were on the rpab. i guess a good mark on these test to shoot for would be 100%. lol . really anything over a 80%. My rpab scores were just passes, but they gave me a good idea of where i need improvement. i think my biggest issue is spelling. Spell check has ruined me. My composition score was low as well as observation. .

Wrote the RPAB!! couple weeks ago. The recruiting officer told me that I may have to wait anywhere from 8-12 weeks to get my results in the mail! Good luck to everyone else. I will post my results as soon as I know them.

It's been less than 30 days, since I wrote the the RPAB and I am happy to say that I received my results in the mail already!
I realize these are not the best scores out there, but I am hoping that I move on to the next stage.

Yes I sure was! I will definetly let you know when I get the results, I usually check here frequently although this forum is pretty dead.

Good luck with your scores and let us know how It goes. I am considering the ATS route for OPP. Since you have done both the prep/wct and the RPAB, in your opinion do I have to study differently? As in which one did you find "harder"?

I would definetly study for the PATI and WCT. They are two completely different tests then the RPAB. I signed up for police prep tests and they are very useful in my opinion. The PATI is an aptitude test that I found easier then the RPAB, and the WCT I found easy but failed as I failed to meet standard on the conclusion. In the end both are a challange, but I think RPAB was harder in my opinion.
