Jenn here from Virtual Resumes Inc. Thank you to the crew at PolicePrep.com and everyone who has connected with us via this forum and PolicePrep.com's website for resume assistance. My writing crew and I would like to wish everyone the best for the holidays and for 2012!
We will continue to offer "free" resume and cover letter critiques in 2012 (you send us your documents in confidence, we assess their competitiveness/strengths/areas for improvement and give you feedback that you can either implement yourself or hire us to do for you -- that's IF they need help in the first place). We will also continue to offer a 20% discount on writing services to those of you who come to us via PolicePrep.com. For those of you who haven't heard of us before, I thought to attach a link to another forum string that was started by clients on the firefighting side of things...This string can act as a pretty complete "reference" as to how we operate and the level of service we provide. You'll notice from the thread that we assist people at the recruit stage, and also for promotional processes (where resumes are sometimes requested as a part of the formal process). We have worked with a number of people referred by PolicePrep as well, so I am sure if you ask around on here, you will find that we're here to help!
